To eradicate poverty by equipping individuals and communities with financial literacy, education, mentorship, and empowerment through workforce development, entrepreneurship, and sustainable pathways to long-term success.

Vision

A future where every family, regardless of where it starts, has the tools, the knowledge, and the community to build lasting well-being, and where repairing the world is everyday work, done together.

The Founder’s Journey

Amar’e Stoudemire’s story reads like the journey of Abraham: leaving home, learning Torah, and traveling to a new land. His first trip to Israel in 2010 became a lifelong path: Israeli championships with two different clubs (Hapoel Jerusalem in 2017, the club he co-owns, and Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2020, where he was also Finals MVP), citizenship, and a new name.

In 2013 he founded STAT Academy with Rabbi Rosenberg, the first proof that education would be the engine of everything after basketball. In August 2026 he enters the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, Class of 2026.

The foundation carries that journey forward across five pillars: service, food dignity, education, culture, and faith, all pointed at one goal. Tikkun Olam. Repair the world.

Six-time NBA All-Star, Phoenix Suns Ring of Honor inductee, Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2026, entrepreneur, and philanthropist committed to uplifting communities through education, sports, and empowerment. As founder and president of the Amar’e Stoudemire Foundation, he leads with a vision to bridge opportunity gaps for underserved youth and families. Amar’e’s dedication extends beyond the court, using his platform to inspire leadership, resilience, and legacy-building for future generations.

Chief Operating Officer

Michael Walker has dedicated nearly two decades to advancing the vision of the Amar’e Stoudemire Foundation. As COO, he provides organizational oversight, program facilitation, and community partnerships. With a strong background in nonprofit operations, Michael is instrumental in strengthening ASF’s infrastructure and ensuring sustainable growth through effective management and community collaboration.

Brandi Caudell brings over 15 years of entrepreneurial and leadership experience to her role as Executive Director of the Amar’e Stoudemire Foundation. She oversees day-to-day operations, strategic partnerships, and program development, ensuring ASF’s mission is carried out with impact and accountability. Brandi also serves as Program Director for the foundation’s ESA-approved enrichment programs, providing families with innovative opportunities in financial literacy, wellness, and education.

His guidance helps strengthen programs aligned with the Education, Health & Wealth Building pillar and supports the long-term growth of STAT Academy and ESA.
